This whole thing is about subverting conservative morality for political power [Alinsky's rules - make the other side live up to his rules]. And there is nothing new here. Those with a will to power have always used sex as a political weapon.

The problem is that Republicans didn't fight back and so the other side could push their advantage way overboard while making common cause with sexual predators, and a lot of that is now coming out in the press.

There is going overboard, but we should cheer that the powerful pervs who have been supporting the Dems are having their comeuppance.

Looks to me like, overwhelmingly, leftist Hollywood types have ended up being the targets here. And I don't think that that was initially the intention. The irony is delicious!
