We had a guest priest at mass yesterday.

Of course here in Delaware everyone’s rooting for the Eagles and almost half the people at church had on Eagle jerseys.

So the priest, trying to be impartial, notes to the congregation that the color for vestments this week was GREEN!

He then goes on a long spiel about how all across America, EVEN IN NEW ENGLAND....the priests will be wearing green.

The guy in front of me, wearing a Patriots jersey of all things, happened to look my way.
