Something I’ve noted before is that we did have a chance to cut this crap off, but we punted. That was when Bush Jr. won the White House. Bush could have gone after the HUGE level of corruption already there, but he punted as he tried to set a ‘new tone’. That was it. That was the message to the left that nothing will get prosecuted...they were free to do ANYTHING without consequences, at least from the Republicans. And they ran with it.

It’s no different than when a local goes from shoplifting without consequences, to assault without consequences, to armed robbery without consequences, to murder (sometimes with consequences). The reason we punish shoplifters, usually, is to get them off of that track. Like it or not, Bush was too much of an IDIOT to realize that giving crooks a free pass would only cause them to step up their game - to the point where we now wonder whether a train crash was intended to reshape Congress.

So let’s HOPE TO HELL that at least some of these animals get PUNISHED this time - or it will get even worse, much worse.

The Bush League Republicans have been fully and completely in collusion with the Democrats for decades.

The assault on the Republican Ball Players was meant to do the same thing. In both cases, they failed miserably.
