he cant do much, if he tries they will get him for "Obstruction",If he fired Sessions (or anyone for that matter) what would he be obstructing? Sessions has recused himself from everything Trump related including his duties as AG
They might be able to charge him with anything they want but that doesn't mean they can "get" him on anything.
I think he's going to surprise a lot of people on how he clears this all up and he's going to politely rub their faces in it afterward.
