Trolls on social media spreading disinformation, running political ads meant to incite racial chaos, sending fake protestors...and I think some worse things. But they failed.
However years of Russian money pouring into things like the Clinton Foundation set a precedent for Russians to attempt to wheel and deal their way through D.C. and cause whatever mischief they can.
But none of it was why Trump won. He won because voters in swing states like Ohio and Pennsylvania liked his platform and wanted change. If the election were held today, he’d win it all over again and with bigger margins.
