Indeed they did. I’ve seen pictures of Japanese atrocities, and they are stomach-turning.

I have long been puzzled over the near-obsession with Nazi atrocities, while other horrors, such as those committed by the Japanese, are all but ignored.

I was going to ask if Japanese doctors fell under Hippocrates' oath, and if they were mentioned in the film.

IIRC, the Jap MD that founded a pharmaceutical led the biological warfare experiments on POWs and civilians.

He got a pass from the US/Allies because he turned over all of his research on germ warfare.
