Do you remember how long it took to get Pres. Nixon on the two bit burglary and subsequent cover up? But then unlike today the so called press did their job. They would never dig deep to get a progg/commie dem today.
Maybe more should be done sooner, and I’m not against that at all. But there is some wisdom to the idea that more should be periodically doled out until the election.

The continuing proximity of danger over a period of time is what creates suspense. In this case, the suspense is a form of marketing.
