I tend to believe this. Or, lets say I WANT to believe it because Im the oldest idealist in the world and I want to believe justice wins in the end. Without that, and without the law, what do we have?

My idealism died in 1968, Cronkite killed it.
We kicked their asses at Khe Sahn, and according to my fellow Marines in other places, all over the country we hunted them down and KILLED them.
Since then my motto has been “BELIEVE NOTHING, TRUST NO ONE”.
