Whats a guy got to do to get ahead around here?
That is what the ambitious and hard-working U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton must be asking himself today especially after U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedys nationally televised speech Tuesday night. The way Moulton sees it, he does all the work and Kennedy, his rival, gets all the attention. Some feel that on a level-playing field it is Moulton who should have been chosen to give the official Democrat Party response to President Donald Trumps State of the Union address not Kennedy. Moulton, an Iraqi War veteran, has recruited some 19 candidates, mostly veterans, to run for Congress. He has raised some $600,000 to distribute among them. Whats Kennedy done? It doesnt matter. Moulton is an ex-U.S. Marine from Salem. Kennedy is an ex-Peace Corps volunteer from Camelot

The Dems dont learn anything. They chose Kennedy because he is a KENNEDY. No other reason. If Chelsea is available in the future, they will choose her over a credible Dem. They choose dynasties over substance. I encourage them to stay with their program. Bwahahahahaha.......
Most of the article is silly - as to the poor choice of Kennedy over Moulton, with all the reminders of how Joe Kennedy does not have what it takes to represent “Camelot”. None of that mattered, compared to Moulton, over the fact that Kennedy supported Pelosi remaining leader of their caucus in the House and Moulton didn’t.
That is all anyone had to say, including Peter Lucas writing for the Lowell Sun.
Yes, I applaud any reminder that the Kennedy’s are not saints. But those reminders were totally unnecessary for explaining how and why Joe Kennedy was chosen over Moulton. Joe is a party-leader follower, Moulton is not. End of story.
Moulton is a gun control fanatic. His district is right by Kennedy’s, my rep. Kennedy is a spineless worm, Moulton is a vicious rat and i’m glad he got dissed because he’s gar more dangerous than little Joe. I know low-info conservatives who voted for Moulton just based on his honorable service record.
He led an infantry platoon, and saw a lot of combat. Several awards including Marine Commendation and Bronze Star, none of which he disclosed during the campaign, to his credit. That about all the nice things I can say about him. He literally ran on “i,m just as liberal as my opponent.”
Impressive...my bet is that he didn’t disclose his service record because his base would have held it against him...
