Sure looks like you are only here to promote your own material.

That’s pretty scummy isn’t it.

Do you make lots of money abusing Free Republic that way?

A rising tide lifts all boats. But Democrats can’t stand the idea that some boats will rise higher than others. Not fair. Better we scuttle the lot of them.

Until such time as these awe-inspiring gains in the stock market actually improve wages, I remain somewhat aloof to the excitement.

The markets have been on a real tear, but wages have stagnated for decades. Something is going to break.

Excellent article that more people should know about. I’m surprised the Hill printed it. Thank you so much for posting it.

Smaller govt? Did I miss the memo that a few agencies/departments/rules creating groups/etc. were zero-budget’d, disbanded and shut-down??

Maybe I missed the news where the debt and govt budget actually DECREASED (not a ‘reduction in the rise of’ IE: They got 4% instead of 5%)?

Govt is like a worm: You may cut off a piece, or even in half but, eventually, it WILL grow back.

“What is good for the United States is good for the rest of the world,” has been Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin’s mantra.

Highlighting this quote based on comments I’ve exchanged with some people here in the past:

Mnuchin’s mantra is what I always took “America First” and MAGA to mean: not isolationism, but an internally strong America leading and inspiring the world by example. When we act out of self-interest, it ends up being in the world’s best interest as well.
