I think the answer always comes back to Republicans secretly love the perks of big government just as much as democrats so they don't really want to prosecute or have any actual accountability. They just want to score political points which will win them more votes. So every time something comes up that would burn democrats and government criminals the Republicans tip there hand and delay for the very reason of letting the democrats prepare their defense.
I don't believe there are many Republicans that truly understand this is something that cannot be used for political points then just swept under the rug. The Republic and the American people are in grave danger.
If the FBI, Hillary Clinton and the many other government criminals don't see jail time they will be back. The next time they will be even more bold and will have no fear of doing anything to usurp power from the people and in turn will do anything imaginable to retain that power. History is full of examples of what happens after these kinds of people take over.

That is a fundamental reality that underlies this whole scandal. Nothing could be more important than immediately exposing the perpetrators of this seditious activity. There is no excuse to delay for a single minute the release of the FISA memo.
The longer the Republicans and the bureaucrats in the Trump administration drag out the release, the more time it gives the cabal to develop a counter narrative and devise other distracting shenanigans to conceal their activities.
It is absolutely imperative that the American people see this memo and understand the threat the Obama’s minions pose to our democracy. Nothing could be more important.
