I should trust the FBI to be honest when they're explaining why I shouldn't see the information that proves they're dishonest?

That qualifies as an insanity defense, right?

Apparantly, Wray’s grave concerns were concerns of omission...that it wasn’t backed up with the underlying intel. Perhaps Trump can satisfy the concern by declassing the underlying intel.

Do we see how this works?

Thanks. Yes, exactly my recurring thought.

They want an agreement that much more security-sensitive classified information would need to be included in order to show their wrongdoing: a catch 22 preventing release. That might sum up their most recent desperate attempt to prevent the housecleaning that is beginning.

Donna Shalala and her friends spent so many years putting the plan and people together to get people like the Clintons in office to form many small, funded associations with state and local governments. The result was a gigantic multitude of people in every level of government, business and academia as an impenetrable national political force that was intended to dominate both political parties.

People like conspiracies. There’s the conspiracy. It’s not exciting or glamorous, but it’s something real and more horrible than it seems on the surface.

It seems that the filth is being unearthed at a greater rate. Let it come. Maybe we’ll see a cleaner country before long. Good news. Last paragraph.

McCabe learned about Clinton emails on Weiner laptop a month before FBI alerted Congress, report says

The FBI can address their concerns AFTER the memo is released for general publication.

The original memo voted out of the committee better be the one released.

The grave-thing is where the FBI’s reputation is being buried.

I should think the concerned organizations would do better to formulate a plausible argument for the American people on “why” and “how” missing key facts alter the perception of the memo, rather than flogging a sound byte.

Nothing the FBI has done after falsely framing hero Richard Jewell carries any credibility. Thugs and liars. Worse than your local sheriff in an election year. If they came to my door for info about a neighbor, unless he was a muslim, I’d tell than to F/O and talk to my lawyer.

Since Waco and Ruby Ridge, the FBI's reputation has had 25 years to move towards rehabilitation, as memories fade, and as the personnel involved in those stupendous errors of judgment retired or left for other reasons. Not to mention that the OKC bombing painted the FBI's opponents as being far worse than they, in the eyes of many.

And so just when you thought the FBI's reputation was way back up there again, you get multiple scandals all at once that are far worse in many ways. Yes, no innocent people have died in this new interlocking set of scandals. But the danger to having our democracy severely or even mortally wounded would be a far greater price to pay.

> Yeah, If there are “omissions” it’s because they themselves refused to hand over information that congress requested.

Catch 22 - first they didn’t want to show the public because a full report would divulge “sources and methods” they don’t want known. Now they don’t want to show the public because there are “omissions” - what? the sources and methods???

People ie. Congressmen and 2 FBI sources have said that the memo is accurate and doesn’t endanger sources or methods.

Wasn’t the FBI/FIB created during the Prohibition era and its attending unconstitutional adoption and eventual repeal? We survived for well over 100 years without various elitist LEOs and their spook counterparts.

The FBI did not exist for the first 125 years of this nation - through wars, an invasion, and a civil war. It apparently was not needed.

I agree with this one hundred percent. I don't think they are needed now and were not then. Except for a high-profile case every decade or so, what do they do? And as I notice, even then they seem to screw up everything from the Lindbergh kidnapping to this latest fiasco. Along the way they have lab techs fabricating evidence, shooting an innocent women via sniper at Ruby Ridge, making crispy men, women and children at Waco, and now, to be blunt about it, treason. What a wonderful PR office they have. That, and a little file on everyone who stands in their way. A few more years and I will be terminated for posting along this line.

Nunes called their bluff on that in his message. And Trump has the authority to order it.

This outburst by the FBI could very well be the trigger they need for the coup. Far-fetched? Not when it would have the active support of every Democrat and some Republicans. In other words a majority of Congress.

The FBI has declared war on America.

If there is a question of accuracy and omission, make all of the backup information and documentation public.
