And the Repubs must follow the law..... but the DEMS?????

By following the law, the Republicans blocked the Democrat's memo that would have projected all blame onto Trump.

Is there anyone who doesn't think that the Democrat memo won't be leaked within hours of the release of the Republican memo?

Ironically, it was republicans on the committee that moved to advance the Schiff memo to release. The Schiff memo will go through the same process that the Nunes memo did. The republicans don't object to release of the Schiff memo.

One has called it an example of the Chewbacca defense; "to deliberately confuse the jury rather than to factually refute the case of the other side."

Schiff didn't compose and offer his memo weeks ago because he advocates against transparency on this subject. But he's not been blocked.

The only reason the republicans didn't vote to release it to the public, when they voted to do so for the Nunes memo (that vote was Monday) was that they had not seen the Schiff memo so had no way to evaluate it for what classified information it might have disclosed.

"By following the law, the Republicans blocked the Democrat's memo that would have projected all blame onto Trump. "

As I read the rule:

  1. The committee has not voted to release the leftists' version of the memo.

  2. If the committee does so vote (and, I believe they should --- eventually) President Trump will have the right to object to it.

  3. There will then be a five-day waiting period before the dem version can be published.

  4. That means that any release of the dem version -- as things now stand -- will be a violation of House rules -- unless the above, drawn-out delay process is initiated by Committee vote.

  5. IF Schiff-for-brains -- or anyone else -- publishes the Dem version before the above process has been allowed to operate -- will the member who released it be subject to censure by the House?

(Appears to me that Schiff-for-brains has got himself into a "catch-22 'gotcha'" position... LOL!!!)
