The infrastructure needs rebuilt. There is no question about it. It’s a big pricetag, but the jobs created and the renewed safety of old roads and bridges is long overdue.
We often forget that infrastructure is what we’re SUPPOSED to be paying taxes for, not transgender surgeries!
Most of the infrastructure is owned by the states. The feds should have no role. If the States want their bridges and roads to crumble, that’s their problem. Maybe they should reprioritize how their state taxes get spent to fix their infrastructure first before wasting it liberal feel-good pablum.
My ENTIRE adult life I’ve heard about “crumbling infrastructure” (and imI’ve heard the boy cry “Wolf” about 10,000 times too often. Yet, in the past 50 years we’ve had only a couple of bridges, dams, and levees fail. If it is all crumbling so badly, we would have massive disasters a couple times a week.
You are being sold a bill of goods and should be more skeptical. This is a $1.5 TRILLION payoff to the Dems and their unions, no better than the damnable Obama “stimulus.”
