A good book I’d recommend: the Benedict Option. He presents a strategy for Christians living in post Christian nations. I don’t agree with the author 100%, but he presents a good strategy. One very interesting point that he made was that cultures are very changeable and indeed can be changed in as little as a generation. Our politics have proven remarkably resistant to change. The culture couldn’t be any more difficult than politics.

I think prayer is far more valuable than politics. By orders of magnitude. And I thank you for doing so.

According to the Bible, none of us know when the Lord will come again. I assume it won’t happen in my life, so I might as well do what I can with the culture in the meantime.

I'll give the book a shot in about a month. As for the Lord returning. I don't know when either. But the speed of moral decay through out the world with the speed of man's increasing arrogance in that they can evolve through their own knowledge( Psalm Two always comes to the forefront) has me more and more curious about eschatology and the dispensation especially since Israel is now a nation again.

We are racing head long in to some serious delusions but again I hesitate to even consider His timing. It's bad now but not thoroughly unbearable. I have to continue to pray "In you time lord," and try to refrain from "How long How long do you wait for your vengeance and the vengeance of your people?"/p>

His justice will not be pretty and we are no commie China or North Korea yet, we are not getting our heads chopped in the ME but something has to give. The days of Noah must have been really bad.
