Progressives would lose their second favorite "cause" if the problem were "solved."

Take their decades-long cause of "poverty": their "poverty" industries, employing their own ideological lobbyists and hangers-on would lose their paychecks if the poverty problem, as they perceive it, were solved.

Is that why, instead of employing freedom of individual enterprise solutions which create "jobs"--what conservatives call "free enterprise"--they always go for expanding power to themselves in their high-salaried positions in government, unions and lobbying firms?

Genius move. Dems are in a jam: either accept the offer or be ridiculed as fraudsters everytime the issue is raised in the future.

I'd take the deal...I think we could demonstrate conservatism is good in the 10-15 years before citizenship.

Won't happen though....DJT was baiting them.
