I read the other day (and who knows if it’s true) that the Marines are protecting Trump.
Protecting the President has traditionally been a duty of the Marines so that’s not really new in and of itself. Somehow I expect he is relying on them more than is traditional.
It’s possible that the presidents safety, hell the safety of the republic, rests in the hands of a few US Marines. And a more worthy group of Americans you’d have a hard time finding.
That's standard procedure. It's nothing new.
