Let't say it cuts it in half illegals and allows 2 million Dreamers and 4 million 'Pipeline' immigrants; giving us: .5 Million Legal + .5 million illegal, after 17 years, 8.5 million. Add 4 million pipeline immigrants, 12.5 million, and 2 million Dreamers.
So after 17 years:
Current system: 34 million
Trump's plan: 14.5 million (assumes .5 million illegals still get thru)

Anyone who is following the efforts of the Trump Administration knows that its members are trying to get the best deal that they can get and make some progress. The situation can be further improved later.
