The companies have credited the tax changes for plans to offer bonuses of up to $3,000, increases in retirement plans, wage hikes and even adoption benefits.
The tax watchdog group Americans for Tax Reform, headed by Grover Norquist, has been keeping the most updated list of companies offering benefits and told Secrets that it had crossed the 250 mark.

I really liked the official statements of the companies clearly spelling out that TAX REFORM was how and why they were doing various pay/investment actions.
My euro-based one isn’t either.
My take home amount is up about 5.5% on what was supposed to be a 2% cost of living adjustment. Havent seen the pay statement yet, but I am assuming the rest is lower tax withholding.
Mr sneakers and everybody else in his company - including part timers - got a $1500 bonus. Of course, by the time the federal govt took taxes, it came to less than $1000. Oh, don’t get me wrong; I’m not complaining. Heck, it was still a wonderful surprise and greatly appreciated!
