Why do liberals think we need to lower the standards to “darken” the immigration system. Do they think black/brown people cannot compete in a merit-based system?
They usually call Indians (the country) “brown people”. And there are quite a few accomplished/driven people from India who want to immigrate and would be welcome. Does Pelosi have a problem with India and only want central/south American brown people? Maybe she only wants people to clean her house and mow her yard, and not immigrants who will raise the community’s standard of living.
Where does Pelosi stand on “yellow people”? Do they make the US “more white”?
Does she only want non-white people who are likely to vote D?
Indian Americans on average vote more Democratic than white citizens, but they are typically better educated, more than twice as likely to have college degrees than Americans as a whole, often work in STEM type professions and become more Republican with age and wealth.
That's not what the DemonRats are looking for. They want poor Latins with limited job skills and less of a future. The DemoRats need to replenish their permanent underclass that will remain solid Democrat voters forever.
Indiam Americans are far less likely to be looking to mow her lawn and do her laundry so that also may be a factor?
