The Guggenheim Museum has reportedly turned down a White House request to borrow a Van Gogh painting, and has instead offered the Trump administration the use of a golden toilet. And then ran to the media to tell how clever they are.
Of course, if this little stunt happens to result in a burst of contributions, well... who would say no?

I suggest that we all mail the usual contents of a toilet to the Guggenheim Museum so that they can properly display the “fully functioning toilet”.

I think people's bathroom fixtures say a lot about them.
Gold is apropos for Trump.

Admission fee is $25.00. It is definitely off my list of NYC attractions to visit. Maybe this story should go out on Twitter...

It could also result in wiping away their federal funding. They’re pissing away a great opportunity, but instead they decided to sh!t on a well funded patron of the arts. Here’s hoping they come to realize how much their idea stinks.
