Agreed. I went to Canada for full flush toilets when we built our house in 2007. For washing machines, I might recommend the Speed Queen AWN432S, which is a commercial grade washing machine (subject to fewer regs).
I am SO hoping the frikkin stupid regulations handed down from the frikkin stupid EPA are abolished, and the people can once again purchase washing machines that actually agitate, spin, use a proper of amount of water, and clean the dirty clothes you entrust to their no-longer-computer-controlled-by-Big-Brother washing cycles - and the newly freed washing machines will clean your clothes like the good old days in well under under 3 hours.
Oh, and did I mention Dishwashers?
Don’t get me started on dishwashers! The current models don’t clean nearly as well and don’t dry the dishes as the ones before the turn of the century.
