“Stephen Boyd, the assistant attorney general for legislative affairs, wrote that “it would be extraordinarily reckless for the Committee to disclose such information publicly without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum and to advise the HPSCI [the House intelligence committee] of the risk of harm to national security and to ongoing investigations that could come from public release.”

So the next question is: Did Sessions give Boyd permission to release this statement, or is Boyd an obuma holdover trying to muck up the works?

Sessions needs to don his Big Boy pants and fire Boyd, or Trump needs to sh*tcan Sessions.

Boyd is a long time Sessions guy. Sessions brought Boyd with him from Alabama.

Exactly my question- did Sessions sign off on this statement? Because it’s just the sort of tactic I can imagine deep state using...undercut the authority of AG while seeming noble..above it all...
