Do you mean that your only hope is to have Trump veto this bill passed in both houses? Is that not a field day for the leftist? Do you mean that McConnell, for no real apparent reason, put Trump in an untenable position? “The president vetoes DACA” . God, what a slaughter that will be. We had them where we wanted them and MCConnell absolutely stabbed us in the back. That is my view. Hope you are right but just don’t buy it.
Ryan doesn’t have the testicular fortitude to even allow a floor vote on ANY immigration issue that doesn’t have Trump’s express approval. Ryan used to think that he had Trump by the short hairs, but he found out that the facts showed exactly the opposite. Ryan will NOT cross Trump on immigration, count on it.
And, yes, I know - Ryan is one of the slimiest, smarmiest slugs on Crapitol Hill (which says a lot). But he knows that Trump can crush him like a bug. Also, he knows that if he makes a fool of Trump, his days as Speaker will end no later than January 1, 2019.
