I think he has “minority leader” mixed up with “majority leader”.
Then again, I’m not that big on the border wall anyway. It would be nice, but so would enforcement of existing laws and borders.
Enforcing the laws doesn't work if the border is not secure, they simply come right back as they have been doing for years.
You said we should enforce the borders, how do we do that without a wall or a serious secure fence?
The wall, combined with the high-tech stuff we have up our sleeves will stop illegal border crossings cold. With a wall, the only way anyone will get across will be through military action. We know what that will bring.
