If any DACA amnesty includes no chain migration, no use of any welfare for 5 to 10 years, requirement to pay taxes and deportation for crime, that 700,000 will decrease quite rapidly. Possibly leaving those who want to assimilate.

To me getting rid of the so-called “dreamers” is more urgent than the wall.

The big issue isn’t the 800,000 or so “children of illegal immigrants who grew up here”, aka, dreamers; the real issue relates to their families.
Once the children of illegal immigrants are allowed to stay, should that benefit their parents (who brought them here illegally), their cousins (who can come via chain migration) or others? How far does it go?
All the push pools ask about the dreamers staying; never takes a step further to discuss their families.
Most people could get accept the trade of the 800,000 being allowed to stay in exchange for: 1 - Wall; 2: end of chain migration, just immediate family and 3 - end of lottery.
In the weeds is the real issue about extended family of dreamers (chain migration - same issue).
No, the problem is your comments are vague and never supportive. You say Trump has not built the wall and brought back manufacturing, In fact he has built prototypes, obtained environmental waivers (normally a long process) and asked for wall money. As for manufacturing he has protected some US industries and convinced many other industries to return to the US.
If you expect to be taken seriously, then be specific about what you want him to do, and acknowledge all that he has done.
Just announce that we are moving on from DACA and taking up the Infrastructure Bill. Then mention to Chuckie that NY doesn’t need any infrastructure money.
That will bring Schumer back to the table and quickly.

I am 100% American. From Michigan. I was one of the 10,000 voters there, who put Trump over the top. I am not a Russian bot, what an absurd accusation. I have however lived for several years in China, both mainland, and in Taiwan. I was very early there, it was a very long time ago.
