As I have pointed out before, Sessions probably does not have a single prosecutor that he can trust to try Comey or anyone else.

Certainly there are some who would do a good job, but how do you tell which are honest and which are hiding their intent?

I believe that when Sessions has solved that question, he will start indicting.

Because he is a US Senator, which is to say, a bullshit artist, and he is exhibit "A" for why Congress is the wrong place to expect criminal investigations to succeed.

The congressional committees are setting the stage for Trump to overhaul the DOJ and the FBI. It's an important necessary first step to get public support.
