Just keep in mind that Trump is in for the long long long game here there is a lot of damage to undo and we need to get stronger majorities of conservative in both the House and Senate

While I don't disagree, and you can see that Trump is playing this beautifully, isn't all of this effort predicated upon keeping the House and Senate? As it stands today, I'm just not so sure that Republicans will do that.

Losing either house would be devastating to Trump's agenda, and I'm just not sure he'd want to operate under constant harassment from select committees issuing subpoenas for anything they can dream up. And God forbid the House should be turned back over to Pelosi and gang...there'd be an impeachment vote as soon as the next Congress was in session.
