Two top FBI officials under fire for exchanging anti-Trump text messages during the 2016 election spoke of a secret society the day after President Trump's victory, according to two lawmakers with knowledge of the messages.
Peter Strzok -- a top counterintelligence official involved in both the Hillary Clinton email probe and FBI Special Counsel Robert Muellers Russia probe -- exchanged more than 50,000 messages with senior FBI lawyer Lisa Page, with whom he was romantically involved.
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., and Rep. John Ratcliffe, R-Texas, said Monday that among the messages the pair exchanged are references to a secret society within the Department of Justice and the FBI.

My wife watches a lot of true crime types of shows and occasionally I will watch some of it with her.
I have come to the realization that the Vast Majority of persons in Prison Today have been sent there for eternity with FAR LESS EVIDENCE than is in the Public Domain regarding Hillary,Obama, Comey,Mueller,Lynch,.... the Election and Various other high ranking Public Servants.
Your point is well taken. There is no accountability in Washington DC. That is indeed a sad and frustrating reality. The Swamp protects its own.
We've been led down the Slam/Dunk, Smoking Gun trail on literally every single occasion before this. Please understand the skepticism as Wolf Calls are fresh in the years.
Strzok and Page should be charged with sedition

Not having read The Memo I cannot judge it’s importance other than what I read in the media.

I appreciate your skepticism. Its a good thing to be skeptical, especially on all things related to Washington.
However, its worth noting that the Dems are resisting the release of the memo so I have to conclude that there must be some pretty damning stuff in it. And, you can be sure that they have been busy devising ways to downplay the memo when is is released. Their allies in the media are already primed to attack it as old news, baseless, partisan, out of context, unsubstantiated, etc.
The Republican foot dragging has given Dems plenty of time to prepare a counter attack to minimize the damage.
Pubs will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory like they always do. Its whay they do. Its who they are.
Comey, Mueller, et. al. all thought they were too smart and had too many inside connections to be defeated. They are slowly being reeled in bit by delicious bit.
The end game is that they and all of their “connections” are going to end up disgraced and maybe even in jail.
Assuming
(a) They sent 50,000 text messages between them, and
(b) They each sent half the text messages, and
(c) They only texted twelve hours a day
That would mean that they each sent approximately
(a) 5,000 texts a month, or
(b) 167 texts a day, every day, including weekends, or
(c) 14 texts an hour, every hour.
Given 3 minutes per text they did little else.
