It’s a tough call and I can’t claim to know the right answer. I agree with you that the children of criminals shouldn’t benefit, but on the other hand... this is the only country many of them know. Sending them back to their ****holes could end up getting them killed. Sure, boot the ones on welfare and the criminals, but the ones just living their live? IDK. Maybe I’m a softy. SQ

I might agree with you but again, they have no claim on this country nor the rights and benefits that are available to citizens. If they could prove their value to society, other than just not actively being engaged in crime then perhaps they can stay but never should be offered citizenship nor should they be allowed to sponsor any relatives. I am not moved by the “only country they know” argument because again, if a child grew up in luxury based on their parents’ criminality, should they then be allowed to still live on ill gotten gains because that is the only lifestyle they know?
