Begun by the New York Times opinion section in 2011, Op-Docs is a series of short, interactive, and virtual reality documentaries. Each film is produced with wide creative latitude by both renowned and emerging filmmakers, and premieres across Times online platforms. The goal of each Op-Doc is to present a unique point of view.
-- Posting comment: That is all the NYT says about this documentary which describes domestic surveillance being done against all Americans post-9/11. The focus of this documentary is the Stellar Wind project which conducted warrentless surveillance. The Utah Data Center facility was nearing completion at the time of this video.

I found this while reading about the NSA Utah Data Center, which is likely where the "missing" FBI texts can be found:

Note the message on the sign.
What immediately caught my eye is that the main character in this video from 2012 is Bill Binney, the same former NSA intelligence analyst turned whistleblower who has been interviewed several times this past year in regard to President Trump's claims that he was "wiretapped":
"President Donald Trump is "absolutely right" to claim he was wiretapped and monitored, a former NSA official claimed Monday, adding that the administration risks falling victim to further leaks if it continues to run afoul of the intelligence community."
Watch this video to see a slightly younger Bill Binney raise the same concerns in a different context. It's worth nothing that he told the FBI about these programs in 2007 including his belief that the Bush Administration was subverting the Constitution. The deep state has deep roots.

After watching this documentary, just ask yourself, "Do I beleive this man?"
“wide creative latitude”
Is that slimes-speak for “lying our asses off?”
Claiming that NSA is doing domestic surveillance and interviewing Binney is hardly unique. Yes, the Slimes is full of it.
The goal of each Op-Doc is to present a unique point of view.
Indeed frightening
It’s fun to poke fun at the NYT. Did you watch the video and if so, do you think anyone was lying their ass off?
You’re nitpicking. What about the point of the video, rather than the claims made about it?
Anyone who thinks STELLAR WIND is new need only go to the fas.org (Federation of American Scientists) web site and look up a program called ECHELON. It’s been in existence for a long, long time.
