The deal is open discussion on immigration and a vote by Feb 8 on a cobbled bill. The Prez said he will sign whatever the Congress agree to.
Discussion doesn’t mean agreement or forfeiture and the President made it very clear that he did not mean to sign anything, but any bill that meets his 3 principle issues.
