THIS SAID, modern Christendom is often too timid to speak gospel to the neighbor of a different color. If the language of gospel isn’t spoken, then the language of hell will be.
But until this gal, too, knows gospel, then she isn’t helping at all. She’s speaking on the level of envy politics.

I don’t think so. The penalty of bribery is paid not in worldly goods but in the mind. The bribe is given to induce the mind to be little and small.
Nope. Not only did I already apologize, I also gave everyone I owe an apology to full payment - 40 acres, a mule, and $1,000,000. I didn’t just do that for every slave I ever owned. I did it for slaves owned by my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-great-grandparents. Not satisfied even with that, I did it for every living descendant of those slaves.
I have done enough. More than that, the world has done enough. It’s time for people “traumatized” by slavery 150+ years ago to move on. It is time for them to live their own lives instead of whining about bad things that happened to other people. Bad things happened to my relatives and ancestors too. Many were wiped out by the Nazis. We cannot forget that evil, or the evil of slavery in the United States generations ago or in Islamic countries today, but we cannot focus so deeply on past sins that we fail to live today.
It is time to judge individuals by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. Discussion over. Apology tour over. Let’s all get to work.

And yet they will still be permanently ensconced @ the bottom of the socio economic barrel

People need to remember that slavery did not begin with American whites. But slavery ended in America when white Christian males went South fought and died and killed enough slave owners and their followers.
Should those whites and their descendants been compensated for freeing slaves? Are the descendants of slaves in America better off than African descendants who stayed in Africa? Why should I, a mixed ethnic, be responsible for the sins of somebody’s great, great, great...,great grandfather who may or may not have done something terrible to blacks just because I look white?
This is insanity and perpetuates hatred, racism and dependence. This is ugly, vile and evil.

We either stop this crappola or I’m going to demand my ‘white privilege’ that never got around to me - There’s precious few people - whatever color - that get thru’ this thing called life without being discriminated against, slighted, putdown etc.
I’m a great grandmother. I was on my own at 14, worked my room and board to get through high school. I was a single mother in a time when women’s wages were about 1/3 of a man’s in the same job - and promotions for women were all but unheard of...as was health insurance for women’s jobs. I was refused rentals over and over because I was a single mom and had ‘all those children’ - I was unable to get many jobs I was more that qualified for (in California) because: “If you expect to get a job here, you need to speak Spanish.” I was refused car loans/house loans that men would have easily gotten. etc etc.
I buckled down...no time to spend on blaming and shaming...or “pitty parties”. I always found a place in a decent neighborhood for my kids - I even finally got my own house - in California. Those ‘kids’ grew into fine young people, great work ethics, great parents..
And then I had the years of being discriminated for jobs/promotions because of my age - and so it went.
Now I’m long retired, except for my writing. Now have my own place back here. And great-grandkids. And grown granddaughters that have HIGH paying jobs/careers...and I am so thankful they will never know all the discrimination I faced back in a different time. And I SURE don’t feel any of YOU people today owe ME anything - not even an apology.
Like I tell my kids/grandkids:”the reason your car has a large windshield and a small rear view mirror is because we should be spending the most of our time looking towards where we’re going - not where we’ve been.”

I had no idea who this woman was but her Wiki says she’s an “American spiritual teacher.” Seems she just kind of created her own religion. What kind of person would want this woman’s opinion and guidance? Shows how lost the world is to look to this dropout.
Backlash is only a bad thing when it comes to Islamic supremacist terrorism, apparently. All women can consider all men to be potential rapists (and even assess them rape kit testing taxes for going to strip joints) and all white people apparently ARE White Devils.
