Of course they “went missing”.

They all came from someone and went to someone. Find them.

If an 18½ minute gap was enough to bring down President Nixon, shouldn’t a 5 month gap be enough to bring down a renegade government?

Oh, yeah. Seth Rich. Maybe this time they’ll go after Mark. They’re always targeting the Rich.

Nobody is going to give you the information that hangs them. The time for securing and raiding has long since passed. Most of us knew what was going on during the election. Everything should have been locked down immediately when Trump won. When the Special Counsel was appointed stuff was disappearing during all of the foot-dragging. Whatever is in the ‘memo’ is no doubt damaging but probably thin as to the nasty elements still in control. I have no faith.

Seems to me I saw this movie before..., but, it was 20+ minutes of missing recordings of Nixon's Office! History repeats itself..., over and over!

DC must be in a brownout with all the shredders running and computers deleting.

If I needed help and was in front of an FBI office, I would keep going.

This is HUGE. Big story and NYT and WP are ignoring it.

Americans will NEVER believe that the FBI cannot produce texts over a 5 month period. People are not that stupid. Everyone knows work emails, texts etc are all company property and KNOW that if needed, the company can produce them.

Some at the FBI and JD, O holdovers, just showed how scared and desperate they are. They stalled on giving this evidence for months. Stalled on allowing certain people to be interviewed by Congress, for MONTHS.

This story is about to explode. You DO NOT lose 5 months of text messages. Not possible. Bring in the experts to find the meta data and actual text messages. The messages obviously indicate O and others knew what was going on.

Where is the siren? It's in red on Drudge, but this should be siren. Not that he is the be all end all, but still, even he should know how average non-Political Americans will know that you can't lose 5 months of text messages.

The REPUBLICANs and SESSIONS gave them plenty of time to delete evidence.

Where is what will happen. The Republicans will make a Big Show of being denied documents, no one will lose their job, no one will go to jail, campaign videos will be made, and after the election, it all goes Bye Bye.

Agree

There is no excuse for this. There needs to be an immediate investigation (outside of crooked FBI) on who logged in and deleted the texts. Start the investigation NOW.

Is there an electronic trail in of someones effort to delete all the info in FBI HR department? Stroke now works in FBI Human Resources department. He probably has a trail of what he searched for and how he learned to delete the text messages. We knew he was moved to HR for a reason. This was one of the reasons. To delete his text messages.

Immediate investigation needs to be opened NOW regarding corruption in the FBI HR department.

WASHINGTON — The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, removed a top F.B.I. agent this summer from his investigation into Russian election meddling after the Justice Department’s inspector general began examining whether the agent had sent text messages that expressed anti-Trump political views, according to three people briefed on the matter.

The agent, Peter Strzok, is considered one of the most experienced and trusted F.B.I. counterintelligence investigators. He helped lead the investigation into whether Hillary Clinton had mishandled classified information on her private email account, and then played a major role in the investigation into links between President Trump’s campaign and Russia.

But Mr. Strzok was reassigned this summer from Mr. Mueller’s investigation to the F.B.I.’s human resources department, where he has been stationed since. The people briefed on the case said the transfer followed the discovery of text messages in which Mr. Strzok and a colleague reacted to news events, like presidential debates, in ways that could appear critical of Mr. Trump.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/02/us/politics/mueller-removed-top-fbi-agent-over-possible-anti-trump-texts.html

Obviously Strzok was removed because of the text messages and now they are saying they do not have them? They didn't expect Mueller's investigation to get exposed for the witch hunt it is. They didn't expect Congress to investigate the corrupt investigators. It's blowing up in their face.

“So it must be that 5 months of emails are missing for EVERYONE in the FBI.”

A most excellent point, and worth following up by an investigative reporter that has a voice in mainstream print. There is truly a Pulitzer awaiting a reporter willing to report the years of corruption. Or even one segment of it.
