Additional text messages sent and received by disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok have been handed over Congress, reports the Associated Press.
But the department also said in a letter to lawmakers that its record of messages sent to and from the agent, Peter Strzok, was incomplete because the FBI, for technical reasons, had been unable to preserve and retrieve about five months’ worth of communications.
I think Mark Rich is alive, and probably living very well.

The FBI previously informed the Justice Department that “many FBI-provided Samsung 5 mobile devices did not capture or store text messages due to misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI’s collection capabilities,” a Justice Department official told lawmakers in an earlier letter. As a result, it says, “data that should have been automatically collected and retained for long-term storage and retrieval was not collected.’’
"Oops! Our bad. We lost 5 month's worth of a critical player's emails for "technical" reasons". This from the best investigatory outfit in the world, the FBI.
This is about as innocent a mistake as the happenstance meeting of Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch at the Phoenix airport. /sarc/
This is a deliberate effort by a tainted FBI to hide digital data that is mandated by federal law to be retained.
What a crock of BS..... someone deleted them, and we can only hope ‘like Hillary’s’, they show up somewhere!
Some mid-level bureaucrats need to be arrested and charged. In every case when the FBI issues a preservation order and the evidence goes missing, it presumes the missing information proved guilt, and the courts agree. The imperiled managers will know the culpable agent(s).
December 2016, right around the electoral college vote, and Trump’s official victory was when they submitted a claim on their insurance policy. That’s what was discussed on the texts-the change in strategy from overt resistance to a Trump inauguration to a covert effort to remove him.

You can't prove they deliberately erased those texts anymore than you can prove that Hillary really doesn't recall.
The FBI needs to be thrown into the garbage can of History.
Depends on who else is mentioned in those communications. I would love to be able to think our guys are innocent, but that really is not likely.
Nope they all resigned in outrage when Clinton wasn't indicted. I was told repeatedly right here that was sure to happen if she wasn't indicted.

Possibly, the FBI knows that if these texts get out, it is the demise of their agency. Might be a good thing to create something the public can trust with their country and dollars.
