My husband was exactly the same. Watching the news and believing every thing they said about Trump. The trip overseas was the final straw.

I sat him down to see on my laptop, exactly what he and Abe did feeding the fish. :)

He realized then that the news was lying blatantly. Since then he has started going to C-span to watch some of President Trump’s actual news conferences and now picks up himself the lies.

I turned my husband into a Trump supporter the same way. I said “just watch his rallies and see what you think”. Soon enough, he was on the Trump Train with me. He has been a conservative all his life, but at first would not take Trump seriously as a candidate. Thank goodness for Trump.
I keep forgetting to tell people that Trump doesn’t even take a salary for the hell he’s going through as president. I need to tell my old aunt that. Forgot about it when I was with her yesterday and my head nearly exploded as the “news” told one lie after another.

The Pro-life rally in D.C. was not even mentioned on the news, yet the Anti-Trump rallies were all over the “news”. Sickening. I told her that it is like Nazi Germany or Russia, where only propaganda is fed to the Sheeple, and we are pressured to be silent or be punished. She kind of “got it” when I compared the control of the Nazis and the Stalinists, to the control our fake media has over “the message” to the Sheeple. She is 86 and remembers history. I think I almost got through to her.
