Getting an extra $20 from the bank reminded me of what happened to me a few years ago.
On a Friday afternoon, at the drive through, I cashed a check. I didn’t count the money right away. By Monday I finally did. Mixed in with the twenties there was a $50 bill!! So I drove over to the same drive-up window and asked if she had balanced out the past week. She said, “No. I was $30 short.” So I handed her the $30.
Her response: “Oh darn. Now my drawer is going to be off again!”
No good deed goes unpunished.
That’s a good story.
I never would have returned that money, unless the bank asked for it, of course.
I wouldn’t want to go to jail and they do have every ATM equipped with cameras.
But how ungrateful can you be?
It’s the education system,they don’t teach how to think....
