My late mother-in-law used to tell the story of how a friend of hers would deliberately darn her husband’s socks so that a knot would create an uncomfortable bump. I guess she hated her husband and this was her way of getting back at him.

I can darn a sock. I even have my grandmothers sock darning egg.
Do I darn socks? Heck no! You can feel it and it drives you nuts!

Was talking to some 20+ years old about the march today. Was quite vocal about how these women were an embarrassment. Acting rude and crude to gain respect? Right, that’ll work. No one disagreed. Teach the children well.
