Pope Francis an Expert on everything but Religion
Well he does like Islam. Christianity died under this guy
I hate saying this as a Catholic but...he seems to be upset that in actuality, the forces of good are winning! A lot of the conservativism upsurge in the West, which elites decry as “racist” is actually a return to sanity, spiritual revival, respect for freedom, and the religious traditions of old — which will eventually be good for everyone involved. Including the Middle East.
Look at the protests in Iran. Lots of Christians participating in those. Newsflash: the Persian Empire was not always Islamic!
The Pope essentially states that nuclear war is imminent. OK, he might be right. Things don’t look that good right now. But what is his itinerary? Flying off to Chile & Peru? What? Are those 2 countries looking to get the Bomb or something?
I’d be far more impressed if the Pope was flying to Pyongyang and Beijing. Or maybe hosting a conference where all this could be hashed out. Instead it’s a throw-away line in response to a reporter’s question as he boards a plane to do something entirely unrelated.
He needs to concentrate on the church members that were abused by predator priests.
The Pope has no business publicly shaming those who were the targets of predator priests in major media outlets.
He sants us all to support every poor person on the planet, but he isn’t being supportive of those victims.
