Jesus reminded the world that murder begins to get its grip from hell in the heart, yielding evil wishes and thoughts about one’s neighbor as its fruit. Quite a bit of rot transpired before Roe v. Wade ever took the formal lid off of its expression. America was already ready to cease caring. The lack of love brings its own punishment. The misery is built in. Idols that can’t satisfy, whose purported powers fall short of fulfilling anything but superficial desire, are passionately pursued. Don’t talk about mere possible future judgment; we are watching and enduring it now.
