Trump said he would sign any deal “the people in this room” would agree on. Sen. Tom Cotton was in the room. He said Durbin and Graham’s ideas could roll into the garbage can, or something like that.
Cotton, Perdue, Steve Miller, etc. would never agree to present Trump with the Democrat-Rino deal.
Trump knew exactly what he was saying.
To all of the Concern Trolls (not you, map) who keep caterwauling about how the President promised to sign any immigration bill the dems brought to him—that was a trap.
