Ouch! The dreaded triple post. (I actually hit the return button once, but really hard.)

Janet Reno turned the arms of the DOJ into politicized weapons. When the Ellian Gonzalez front page picture showing a Kevlar shielded killer pointing an automatic weapon at the child and his uncle and nobody cared.......or burned everyone alive at Waco and nobody cared,,...........?Where do we go from there?

A well regulated militia could be explained as a whole lot of regular folk who can also hit a target at 500 yards. Exception being we the people don’t draw a bead on pets, pregnant ladies, or babies.

The congressional cover-up was during Clinton. I remember the hearings with Feinstein covering and obfuscating the facts of the case.

Yep. Killing civilians while exercising the deep state’s reach is something that crossed party lines. Still does.

“There are folks here from Nevada that don’t appreciate seeing the Bundys grazing their cattle for free.”

Well, there are others “from Nevada” including my wife (LVHS Class of 1960), whose father worked in the dairy business in the Overton Valley, who think the Bundy’s have every right to graze their cattle as they have for about a century. Grazing fees are the least of what was going on in Bunkerville. It was more like Harry Reid and his merry band of Commies wanting the Bundys off the land so they could make a bunch of money off of it “repurposing” it, and the broader issue of the fact that 89% of Nevada “belongs” to the Fed Gov.

Thanks for the explanation. I never covered the story much being so far away from the action. I tended, myself, to come down on the side of the Bundys but was confused as to some freeper antagonism towards them.

Thanks again.

That whole situation disgusts me, and even that the agent that made the shot on mom in the doorway endorses certain optics etc. Americans should of smacked the hell out of that agency the next day.

Apparently the Bundys are not user-friendly in real life, and that engendered some apathy and hostility to their cause.

“Terrible story but it seems to me there were some freepers here against the Bundy family. I forget the reasons why.”

Cop sympathizers who painted the Bundy's as lying freeloading thieves.
