Right on all points, Miss M! I will never, EVER, forget the mindless, hair-on-fire reaction to Trump saying he’d sign anything they put in front of him. The panic was worthy of very young children who are told on Christmas eve that Christmas has been cancelled. I’d feel sorry for the kids, but not for adults who willingly choose hysteria over rationality.
Trump always meant he’d sign anything that included his top priorities. That’s how he makes deals. Not, ‘You get everything and I get nothing,’ — as the panic button crowd imagined. Rather, Trump gets his main priorities or there’s no deal. That’s straight out of his book: no deal is better than a bad deal.
But the hysteria cabal will keep going strong. They seem to need periodic spells of panic the way users need a periodic fix. There’s no reasoning with such a POV. Oh well.
Look at them here! All hysterical because Kelly said something on tv. After a year of this, intelligent people ignore what “his people” say and watch what Trump does. It saves a lot of money on Prozac and anti-anxiety drugs.
