Early...just breaking multiple police down....
Serving a warrant. Not clear if officers shot. One person was shot by police.

Unfortunately not surprising. Harrisburg is a s***hole and gets worse every year.

Harrisburg media is reporting that “ multiple police officers “ were hospitalized Thursday morning following an officer-involved shooting.
The Dauphin County district attorney confirmed to the news outlets that officers were injured while serving a warrant in the city, according to Pennlive, WGAL and ABC 27. One person was shot by police.
A suspect was believed to be in a home and officers remained on scene. Neighbors reported hearing dozens of shots.
There was no word on the injured officers’ conditions.
“Im afraid police are going to start taking a shoot first and ask questions later attitude.”
Start?
Dollars to doughnuts says Allison Hill.
Talk about your proverbial shithole !
That was my first thought, too.
My observation after we lost a Deputy and 3 others were wounded here in Douglas County, is that tactics need to change so they aren’t such closely grouped targets.

UPDATE: MARSHALL KILLED - Sources tell The Sun that a US Marshall was shot and killed in Harrisburg this morning executing a warrant. Reportedly, a York city police officer also shot and wounded. The suspect was reportedly killed in an exchange of gunfire.
This is horrible, and has to stop. Prayers for the Marshall’s family, and that the police officer recovers completely.
I wonder why a New York police officer was involved in serving a warrant in Harrisburg?
Probably trying to arrest a fugitive on an arrest warrant.
Not New York. York is a city located in central PA south of Harrisburg.
York, not New York.
York, PA is 30some miles S of H’burg.
From Penn Live:
“The incident occurred this morning in the neighborhood around 18th and Mulberry streets, where there is still a police presence.
It’s the same area where a gunman, 51-year-old Ahmed Aminamin El-Mofty, was shot to death by police after shooting at officers around Harrisburg days before Christmas.”
What does that mean, “Harrisburg doesn’t count”?
...or if it was the correct house.
“gunman, 51-year-old Ahmed Aminamin El-Mofty”
That’s an unusual Amish name!!!
Seriously, Trump is doing his best to get the number of crimes committed by DACA and other illegal immigrants out in the press. Bet he tweets on this if this guy is an illegal immigrant.
Sadly you are correct. Prayers up!
Police eventually shot and killed the gunman, whom authorities later identified as Ahmed Aminamin El-Mofty.
ne Pennsylvania state trooper was shot during the spree, but she was expected to make a full recovery, authorities said.
The suspect had chased the trooper during one of three shootings that began at around 4 p.m., PennLive reported.
By around 7 p.m., the suspect was dead.
Ed Marsico, Dauphin County district attorney, said police were deliberately targeted, and that El-Mofty was slain as he fired at officers while carrying two rifles and a shotgun, PennLive.com reported.
Marsico told WGAL-TV that officials had no idea what the motivation is at this point.
