I disagree with the ban and any other law that infringes our rights but this nothing more than a feel good headline grab with no impact.

It was already illegal to own or possess a bump stock in NJ if you had access to a firearm it could be used with. I doubt more than a dozen people own one. They had no legal use in the state and were a big problem if you were caught with one and there was a firearm it fit anywhere nearby and they hit you with the “assault” weapon charge.

This ban changes nothing in the state. The bills that already passed and Christie vetoed are working their way through again and Murphy will sign them - microstamping, 10 round limit, 1 evil feature instead of the current 2 makes an AR illegal.

Christie was no friend of the 2nd but he was far better than what is coming.
