I see no explanation why you would call a man of God a heretic? Maybe you should understand what it means to deny the power of the Holy Spirit; the Baptism of the Holy Spirit!

Because what he is doing is not of God. Maybe in more recent years he's cleaned up his act. I respected Evangelicals but if they have grafted this heresy into their doctrine and practices, I no longer do.

What they are doing could be a sin against the Holy Spirit, but the worst blasphemy was in Jesus' time when the scribes and Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out demons by Satan's power. To which Jesus replied: "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men." Matthew 12:22-24, Mark 3:22.
