FORT WORTH The day of reckoning has come for Fort Worth, blurring from a distinct metropolitan city into the western sprawl of the DFW metroglob.
A new business plan for the city included wakeup alarms for city leaders:
▪ Our residents are less likely to have a college degree than Houstons or Dallas, and nowhere near as well-educated as Denvers or Austins.
Even our high school graduation rate trails San Antonios or Oklahoma Citys, both working-class cities with a rough-and-tumble cowboy past.

Tarrant County, which includes Fort Worth, was the ONLY major metropolitan area to be red this election.
He says the city has a reputation for being hostile to foreigners. Uh, no, we’ve got schools going Spanish immersion for everyone because it is easier and cheaper than separate “normal” and bilingual programs.
Fort Worth is broken?

Fort Worth has a Republican mayor, so they must have something going for them.
Betsy Price is no conservative. She was the tax collector for Tarrant county, so thats how she got name recognition. Sorry to tell you but cowtown is a sanctuary city catering to the illegals.
She is a huge rino. A fake conservative to say the least.
Fort Worth is little Mexico on the south side.

Yep. My old neighborhood on the south side is holding its own against the onslaught, pretty much a little oasis surrounded by a sea of third-worlders. I grew up there and could see even then the deterioration encroaching. A once thriving, unique (for that time period) outdoor shopping mall was swallowed by the squalor and is now not much more than a Mexican flea market.
And this is what the author of this article wants MORE of. SMH
