Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) told CNN Tuesday that she believes President Trump “made clear” that “he wants basically white people” to come to the U.S. based on remarks he reportedly made in an immigration meeting last week referring to countries like Haiti as “sh**hole countries.”
“He made clear that day that he met with Dick Durbin and Lindsey Graham that he wants basically white people to come to our country,” Hirono said.

“It’s hard not to have that interpretation,” she claimed. “That’s not just my interpretation.”
She also slammed Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and David Perdue (R-GA) who were in the meeting for saying they “do not recall” the comments.
“I think if the president uses a word like, and I will use it sh**hole, to refer to certain countries I think you would remember,” she said.
She called Cotton and Perdue “enablers to the president.”
Trump has denied the reports but admitted the language he used in the meeting was “tough.”
He also criticized Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) for misrepresenting what was said.

"Look, the president hasn't said he didn't use strong language," White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Tuesday when asked about the remarks. "And this is an important issue. He's passionate about it. He's not going to apologize for trying to fix our immigration system. He's committed to doing that and hopefully Democrats will be too."

Now our policy literally avoids white people who want to come here. It’s exceedingly difficult unless you are from Somalia, Pakistan, Mexico, Afghanistan, crapistan, El Salvador, Haiti, or some other hellhole.
The real question is why a once predominantly white country (89% non-Hispanic whites in 1970) would overwhelmingly bring in minorities that will change the demographic makeup of the country forever. Non-Hispanic whites will be 50% of the population by 2043.
What’s wrong with a bit more balance in who we allow/encourage to emigrate to America? That’s all Trump is advocating. But as usual, it’s distorted by the left/Demoncrats (please excuse the redundancy).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average crossed the 26,000 point milestone at the opening bell on Tuesday.
The Dow made the latest 1,000 point milestone move in a record-setting seven sessions, breaking the previous record of moving 1,000 points in 23 sessions. That record was set when the Dow moved from 24,000 to 25,000.
“Investors smell profit, more and more from American corporations. And that’s the bedrock for stock prices,” Stuart Varney said on “Fox & Friends.”

Although born in Japan, she was born to a mother who was an American citizen” wikipedia, which has an appalling background story of this NON-American Senator who cannot EVER run for President. Not to mention growing up in a whorehouse in the Territory. Quite a “legend” written up there. So— why is she a democrat liberal? A state that produced notable Patriot Nisei?

I think I recall that the 1965 Kennedy immigration bill severely restricted immigration from white European Countries.
Of the alien peoples that the US “chooses” to admit, the major requirement must be that they aspire to adopt American/Western civilizational values and culture, and that they be willing and able to contribute to American society rather than to become a drain on it.
we went to Oahu for a vacation last fall. To be honest, the parts of the city that were not tourist-y were awfully run down. I have been there b4, so i was surprised to see it all so unkempt.
I decided that was my last trip to Hawaii.
