I really like the provisions laid out by President Trump. Wish he’d add mandatory E-verify with very stiff penalties for violators.
IMO, E-verify is not that important. My daughters social security number was used for employment from the time she was 7 - 10 years old. For 3 years she had a full time job, paid into social/medicare and filed income taxes. Nobody caught this? And for 3 years I was fighting with IRS to claim her on my tax return. So, even after these dreamers are allowed to stay, they will continue to work for cash or use someone else’s identity, collect government benefits and send money home.
I would like to see an immigration bill that states anyone coming here cannot receive any government benefits. Then we would find out who really wants to be an American!
