"Bad headline. Its the shuttle which burned."
Awwwww, come on. Give the news media people a break. No way is a Shuttle to a gambling boat as exciting as the gambling boat itself.....

The resins used in older non-military and some commercial/private craft tend to burn really well.

Florida is saturated with casinos and i think that has taken its toll on this business. The boat has been running well over a 20 years. Years ago they appeared to have a healthy marketing and maintenance budget with nice equipment, billboards and local tv ads everywhere.
Just read on Wiki that SunCruise has been defunct since 2009. Funny all the decals and signage still had the old logo.
Last Summer my wife and I decided to take the shuttle out to the mother-ship in a lark one Friday evening. The ride out was nice but the main casino boat was cramped and very mildewed. We immediately got back on the shuttle to return. (otherwise its 4 hours). The ride back was down wind and a sooty diesel fume experience

Still haven’t learned the name of the casino where the shuttle was headed. They seem to have managed to completely keep their name out of the headlines.
I live here in Pasco and have never heard of any casino or boats to and from.

The Casino ship is Sun Cruise.
